Preparing to Head Out!

Well, we are in our last few days of lecture phase and getting prepped for outreach! This brings about many mixed emotions for most of us. We are sad to see the lecture phase come to an end, yet super excited to begin outreach and see what God has in store for us. The DTS and CDTS have really gelled the past 12 weeks and have grown into a real family with many CDTS becoming surrogate parents to our not so old students!

We are now divided into three mixed teams heading to different areas of the world for outreach and currently doing our final preparations. As excited as we all are about starting outreach, everyone is talking about how awesome it will be in February when we meet up again for Debriefing and Graduation. We haven’t even left yet and we are already anticipating seeing one another again – Very cool!

Our team, Team Arua, is the first team to leave Chico – bright and early Friday morning at 7am on November 24th! We will spend one week in Mexico, one week in Los Angeles, and eight weeks in Uganda, Africa. Here is our tentative itinerary for outreach; tentative, as it will be subject to change as Holy Spirit leads us!

Prayer Needs:

– safe travels

– easy entry into countries

– continued team unity

– ministry opportunities in refugee camps, youth, battered women, street ministry in LA

We covet all your prayers! Many blessings, The Arua Team
