You never know where life will take you.
Sitting here in Lesotho, in a tent, I am in awe of God’s love for me to bring me here. It is by God’s power and His will for my life that I am here for this 3 week time. I begin to wonder, “Why me Lord?” While all my friends back at home are in college studying, God has me here in a rural village… going to bed with the sound of angry, wild dogs and waking up to the rooster and the strange noises of donkeys.
I have been fetching water from the dam and carrying, or better said, dragging, the buckets over to water the vegetable garden. I am using a solar panel to heat up water for a shower. God is challenging me to make an effort to communicate with others of a different language. He has me building relationships and spreading His love. I am learning new things and making mistakes. He has me right where He wants me. No where different. No where wrong. And therefore, I am right where I want to be in a place of obedience to our Father.
